Age restrictions error on Minecraft

My son has been playing Minecraft on his laptop and now has a new PC. When he logs into his Minecraft account, a message appears saying he cannot access Minecraft because of age restrictions. He can still access the same account on his laptop, so it may be a settings issue. How can we resolve this?
