The onenote app on my android phone is displaying a message "working offline. Sign in to sync your notes", in Recent Pages. I am signed in and can access all files in the Notebook List tab. When I click the Sign In it displays an error message "Something went wrong [9hehw]"

Dealing with the same. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it was still malfunctioning.
I am experiencing the same issue for about the same time frame (past 10 days or so). Searching notes or manually browsing notes works, only viewing the "Recent pages" home screen shows the same "Workong offline. Sign in to see your notes" error message. I tried signing out and signing back in and clearing all app data and app cache to no avail. I think its an issue on Microsoft's side.
For me the Recent Pages was broken for over a year. It stopped sorting the way it was set to do. I would like to have in Settings a switch to turn Recent Pages off.
The other issue, which may be related to the one we are talking about here, are the frequent notes that get out of sync and you have to go to the desktop or web version to pick and choose the page versions you want to keep. Why would they fall out of sync if I only use my phone?
I'm having this exact same problem as well. Lord knows we needed another update to this app. Why cant they just leave it alone unless there is something wrong with it.....like now.
