Escapement Tools is completing Microsoft Artifact Signing organization identity validation for a production software release.

Timeline:

  • August 20, 2026: We received the initial Action Required email.
  • August 21, 2026: Microsoft requested two additional documents.
  • Both requested documents were uploaded through the Azure Artifact Signing portal on August 21.
  • The portal now lists both documents as Uploaded and the validation status as In Progress.
  • No acknowledgment of document receipt, subsequent Action Required notice, or later status email has been received.

We are not asking Microsoft to bypass or shorten the review. Could the Artifact Signing validation team please confirm:

  1. Both requested documents were successfully received.
  2. The validation is actively queued or in review.
  3. No additional action or documentation is currently required.
  4. If supported, whether the request can be escalated for a status review because Artifact Signing is the remaining dependency blocking our production software release.

The Azure portal exposes the support category Artifact Signing > Identity Validation - Organization > In 'In Progress' state more than 7 days, but the subscription's Basic support plan does not permit technical case creation.

We can provide the subscription, Artifact Signing account, resource, and Identity Validation references privately to authorized Microsoft staff. We will not post those identifiers or the documents publicly. We have not created a new validation request, deleted the existing request, or resubmitted documents.
