How do I access the code for Microsoft that came when I bought my laptop last year?

I purchased my laptop about a year ago and it came with the promotion of a renewal with a free code to Microsoft 365. How do I find that code?

I was unable to locate it & I tried to contact Microsoft, but I didn't put down a phone number and can't figure out how to edit it, on the web page because there is no link to do it.

Please help! I want Microsoft 365 back, but need the code and now I don't know where to find it and can't seem to get a real person anyplace.

Okay, thank you for that information, try using this method to contact their support.

Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

Select Microsoft 365

Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

    If it was indicated Office was pre-installed on the laptop, you do not get a code, that is a digital licence.

    When you purchased that laptop, did you log into Office with your Microsoft account to activate the free subscription at that time?
