Artifact Signing Identity Validation failed although Vetting Operations is requesting additional documents
I am experiencing an issue with Organization Identity Validation for Azure Artifact Signing (Public Trust).
The validation status is currently Validation Fail.
However, the validation details show the following message from Vetting Operations Support:
In reviewing your appeal for verification, we have identified that we need some additional information from you before we can complete the review. Please provide copies of the additional original document(s) listed below to verify your association with the organization. Copy of original paid domain registration receipt from the registrar that includes the domain name, the owner of the domain, the date it was registered, duration of registration, and the name of the registrar. The submitted document should have an expiration date of at least two months in the future.
I have already prepared the requested documentation from our domain registrar.
The problem is that the Identity Validation status is Validation Fail, and there is no button or other option in Azure Portal to upload the requested documents.
The notification email was sent from azure-noreply@microsoft.com, so I cannot reply to the email to provide the documents.
Vetting Operations states that additional documents are required before the review can be completed, but Azure Portal provides no way to submit those documents.
How can I securely submit the requested documents to Vetting Operations?
Alternatively, can Microsoft reopen the existing Identity Validation as Action Required so that the document upload function becomes available?
I do not want to create another Identity Validation request because this existing validation has already been reviewed by Vetting Operations and they are specifically requesting additional documentation for this review.
Thank you.
