My Microsoft/Xbox account was compromised due to my son falling prey to a Minecraft/Discord Server phishing scam. My account is currently secured but I can't get access restored. I have submitted multiple forms, including with as much identifying information as I can fit in the one open-text field. I can't use the regular Microsoft form because my account currently "doesn't exist," as the hacker changed the email on the account. I just need a real person to review the case and communicate with me, otherwise I will keep submitting cases over and over with no success. I can't respond to the emails and the cases keep getting closed.

Hello Jeremiah Barba

I’m sorry you and your son are dealing with this.

Because the hacker changed the account’s sign-in email, please refer to this site for how to recover the compromised account:

Here is also how to contact Microsoft Support in case you need further assistance:

  3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
  4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
  5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

I hope you can get the support you need,

Have a nice day.
