WalMart selling Dell computer including MS Office 2024 Lifetime

Fraudulent sale of Dell Inspiron 15 shows Lifetime MS Office 2024 included. Setup shows a "1 Month Free" of MS365 instead. Either deliver promised software or accept unit return and issue full refund.

NOT FRAUDULENT - Just not well executed setup by YYY Trade LLC! Resolution:

YYY Trade LLC DID send me the software installed but under a different name. Instead of "MS Office Lifetime 2024," it was labelled "MS Office Pro 2024," Leading me to believe it might be a subscription instead of a one-time purchase. During setup, I saw "Office Pro" and declined it due to the inaccurate name. I hope YYY Trade can clarify to their users that Office Pro is a purchase and not a subscription. I just now accepted the license and have working Office (Pro) apps. I suggested that YYY Trade LLC might want not to show a "free month" of MS 365 bundled into their setup, and I'll need to either delete the 365 button or find out how to separate CoPilot from it on my home internet screen, but I amd now set to go with my new Dell. Thanks for all your help, John!

If the Walmart listing specifically says Office 2024 Lifetime is included, the Microsoft 365 trial may be separate.

To help narrow this down:

Does your receipt or the Walmart listing clearly say Office 2024 is included?
Was it sold by Walmart or a third-party seller?
When you open Word or Excel, do you see any option to activate Office 2024?

If Office 2024 was included but there is no activation option, you would need to contact Walmart or the seller regarding the missing license or return/refund.

Hi,

Yes, that screenshot clearly shows Lifetime Microsoft Office 2024 was advertised as included with the laptop.

Contacting YYY Trade LLC is the right next step. Keep that screenshot and your order confirmation as proof of the listing.

If they cannot provide the promised Office 2024 license, I would request a return/refund through Walmart while the order is still eligible.

Also, please sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services using the Microsoft account you used during setup.

Do you see Office Home 2024, Office Home & Business 2024, or any other Office 2024 license listed there?

Thank you, John. The only the only thing listed at the site is MS 365 'free to start.'

The supplier simply did not issue the license. Wal-Mart has said they will contact the seller to see if they can straighten it out.

The "Business Yab" website shows the above with a five star rating. Beside the reviews, it shows the number of reviews (1).

Dialing the number generates a message that says something like "Sorry, the person you're trying to reach has not set up a mailbox yet."

I'll give this today and see if they come up with the product key.
