I keep getting a message that I have an Account problem. How do I find out what it is and where the problem lies?

Except when I click on the message, there is no reported error given to me. No readily apparent apps problems, no readily apparent account problems. I do not have extra accounts. My account is logged in properly because I see my live.microsoft.com account, and I can access it. This message is highly annoying because nobody addresses the ERRENOUS nature of the message and none of the alleged fixes apply.
