Hello, thank you for reaching out.

    1. Check whether the issue is the account or the OneDrive app:
      • Try signing in to the Microsoft account dashboard first.
      • If sign-in fails there too, use the Microsoft sign-in helper.
    2. If the account sign-in works, check the OneDrive app:
      • If the OneDrive icon is gray or has a line through it, OneDrive is signed out.
      • Select the OneDrive icon, then at the Set up OneDrive screen enter the email address and password.
    3. Restart OneDrive if it says it is not connected:
      • On Windows, open Start and search for OneDrive.
      • On Mac, open Finder and search for OneDrive.
      • If the app is missing, install the latest version of OneDrive.
    4. Check network blocking:
      • If sign-in still fails, the cause may be a firewall, VPN configuration, or the internet provider.
      • Test with a mobile hotspot if available.
      • If that works, the normal network may be blocking OneDrive or Microsoft 365 access.
    5. Use the correct account type:
      • If the error says “Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services'” or “cannot access the application '00000003-0000-0ff1-ce00-000000000000'”, a Microsoft personal account is being used on a work or school OneDrive site.
      • Sign in with the work or school Entra ID instead.
    6. If a hack is suspected:
      • Review Microsoft account recovery and sign-in help resources immediately.
      • Microsoft support agents cannot send password reset links or change account details for security reasons.
    7. If nothing works:
      • For a personal account, use Contact Microsoft Support.
      • For a work or school account, contact the organization’s IT helpdesk or admin.
