I paid for 100Gb upgrade but 5Gb is all I get

As stated, last November I paid for the storage upgrade but I am not able to use it.

The new 100Gb shows in my account, but I still get the Onedrive "not enough space" warning on my taskbar.

So for nearly 10 months I have been unable to use a facility I have paid for.

Seems like a scam to me.

Thanks, this account apparently does not have the subscription.

Do you possess any other Microsoft account?

Your taskbar warning persists because the OneDrive desktop app's local sync cache is stuck and has failed to refresh your account's new storage quota.

How to Fix the Sync Error

    • Unlink your account: Click the OneDrive cloud icon on your taskbar, go to Settings > Account, and click Unlink this PC. Sign back in to force a fresh connection to your updated 100GB quota.
    • Reset the app: Press the Windows Key + R, type %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset, and press Enter to completely clear the stuck cache.
    • Check local drive space: Ensure your computer's physical C: drive is not actually out of hard drive space, which triggers identical taskbar warnings.

If you still see the error after resetting the app, tell me:

    • Does the OneDrive Website show your storage correctly used or over quota?
    • Are you using the same Microsoft email address for both the app and your purchase?

I can help you contact Microsoft Billing Support to fix your account mapping.Your taskbar warning persists because the OneDrive desktop app's local sync cache is stuck and has failed to refresh your account's new storage quota.

    Hi,

I am committed to making your experience better with Microsoft.

First, ensure that you are logged in with the same account on the taskbar and through the subscription you purchased.

Second, I would like to see a screenshot of the following page showing the storage distribution of your Microsoft account.

I look forward to hearing from you to get the results of the troubleshooting.
