How to configure Hot Dial on a Teams shared space phone

To configure a Teams shared space phone for Hot Dial, use the Hotline/PLAR feature on a common area phone.

1. In the Teams admin center, sign in with a Microsoft 365 admin account.
2. Go to Teams devices > Phones > Configuration profiles.
3. Select the configuration profile assigned to the shared space phone.
4. Under Call settings, turn on Enable hotline.
5. Save the profile.
6. On the phone device, go to Settings > Device settings > Admin only > Calling > Hotline.
7. Enter the contact or phone number to be autodialed.
8. Enter the display name to show on the phone home screen.
9. Select Save.

Important requirements:

• Verify Advanced Calling is disabled when enabling Hotline in Teams admin center.
• Verify the Teams app version on the Android phone is 1449/1.0.94.2023082303 or later.

About dialing a call group: the available documentation only states that Hotline can autodial a preconfigured PSTN number or a directory contact when the handset is picked up. It does not provide steps to configure Hotline to dial a call group directly.
