    Hello Roger Khoury

Since AI already provided several troubleshooting methods already but only mention contacting support without proper step.

Here is the detail way to make sure you reach support in case you need further assistance about this issue:

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited solely to providing technical guidance on reported incidents, requests, or ideas.

    1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.
    3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
    4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
    5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

I hope you can get the support you need with these steps

    Have a nice day.

    Common reasons:

    • The file owner stopped sharing the item. When that happens, it disappears from Shared.
    • Shared items are stored on the other person’s OneDrive, so they do not behave the same as files in Files/My files.
    • On the web, shared items are found in OneDrive.com under Shared. For work or school accounts, use Shared > Shared with you.
    • In the mobile app, shared items are in the Shared view.
    • For work or school accounts, the Shared with you view shows up to 500 items.
    • Shared folders cannot be moved from Shared into Files/My files. If there is edit permission on a shared folder, a shortcut can be added instead.
    • If a shared folder shortcut appears as a .url internet shortcut instead of a normal folder, that is a known OneDrive issue. The content can still be accessed through OneDrive.com.
    • There is also a current known issue where some users cannot hide, remove, or stop sharing files in the OneDrive Shared tab because of the error "The provided item ID is not valid for the requested drive".

    What to check:

    1. Sign in to OneDrive.com and open Shared.
    2. If using a work or school account, open Shared > Shared with you.
    3. Confirm the owner is still sharing the file.
    4. If the item is a folder and edit permission exists, try Add shortcut to My files.
    5. If the shortcut opens in a browser as a webpage, use OneDrive.com to access it for now.
    6. If the issue continues, for personal accounts use Contact Microsoft Support. For work or school accounts, contact the organization’s IT helpdesk or admin.
