We are trying to complete Azure Artifact Signing organization identity validation for our company.

The process reached the point where:

  • The requester identity verification was completed successfully.

Microsoft then requested additional documentation to verify the relationship between the organization and our domain.

We uploaded an original paid domain-renewal invoice/receipt issued to the organization for the relevant domain.

The validation status returned to In Progress.

Shortly afterwards, the status changed to Validation Fail.

The Azure portal and the notification email do not provide any rejection reason, failed check, or required corrective action.

Before submitting another identity validation request, we would like to understand:

What specific validation check failed?

Was the failure related to the requester identity, organization details, domain ownership, address, or the supporting document?

What exact correction or additional document is required?

Is there a way for the Artifact Signing / Vetting team to review the backend validation result?

We do not want to repeatedly create new validation requests without knowing what caused the current failure.

This is an Organization / Public Trust validation for Azure Artifact Signing in West Europe.

I can provide the Identity Validation ID and other subscription-specific information privately if required by a Microsoft moderator or support engineer. We are trying to complete Azure Artifact Signing organization identity validation for our company.
