A web-based tool in Microsoft 365 that enables users to quickly create surveys, quizzes, polls, and feedback forms.
Hello Steve Quesenberry,
Based on the information you provided, I understand that you are not receiving email notifications when new responses are submitted to your Microsoft Form.
As a first step, please help me verify the following:
- Open the affected Microsoft Form.
- Select Settings.
- Confirm that Get email notification of each response is enabled.
- If the form is shared with others, please ensure that your account is included as a recipient for the notification emails.
If the setting is configured correctly and you still do not receive notifications, I recommend you to check with your IT administrator whether the notification emails are being generated and delivered to your mailbox by running a Message Trace in the Exchange Admin Center (EAC). If you have the necessary administrative permissions, you can also perform this check yourself by accessing to Exchange admin center. When running the Message Trace, please configure:
- Recipient: Your email address
- Date range: A period that includes the time when a new Forms response was submitted
The Message Trace results can help determine whether:
- The Forms notification email was sent successfully to your mailbox
- Any inbox rules, mail flow rules, or spam filtering actions redirected the message to another folder
- The message was blocked, quarantined, or otherwise affected during delivery
For more information, you can review this document: Message trace in the new EAC in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn
Please feel free to let me know if you have any updates on this matter.
I look forward to hearing from you.
