Hi Michal,

To check on this, have you already removed the card that is problematic? If yes and the issue still persist, I highly to get in touch with the live Microsoft Support agent to further assist you with this.

Kindly note that this community is composed of fellow Microsoft users and we are not Microsoft employees and do not have access to tools or systems to review transactions or account details.

You may follow the steps below:

  1. Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus and sign in your Microsoft account
  2. On the "Tell us your problem so we can get you the right help and support" - just type "Billing issue" then search
  3. You will see Recommended Solution, just scroll down until you can see "Contact support"
  4. Under "Tell us a little more about your problem", select "Microsoft 365 and Office"
  5. For Category select > manage my subscription > then confirm
  6. Select Chat with a support agent in your web browser
  7. Confirm your account and you should be routed to Microsoft support representative who have the appropriate tools and resources to investigate and assist you further with the billing concern.

If the payment method for Microsoft cloud storage or a Microsoft 365 subscription needs to be updated because the previous card was blocked, use the Microsoft account billing pages:

    1. Go to Services & subscriptions and sign in with the Microsoft account tied to the subscription.
    2. Find the past-due or active subscription and select Pay now if payment is overdue.
    3. Check the payment method.
    4. If the card is expired or no longer valid, update the payment method or add a new one.
    5. Select Next to complete the payment.

If the payment method shows an error:

    • Go to Payment options and update the card.
    • Make sure the card details match exactly: card number, expiration date, name on the card, and billing address.
    • Confirm there are sufficient funds.
    • If the card is still declined, contact the bank because the card might be inactive or blocked.

If the browser does not let the payment update save:

    1. Sign out of active Azure sessions.
    2. Open an InPrivate session in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer.
    3. Try again.
    4. If needed, refresh the browser, use another browser, or clear cached cookies.

If there is already an outstanding balance, clear that balance before deleting the old payment method.
