Not able to load any of my comic files on my Kindle Fire HD 8

Hello fellow Microsoftnians/Amazon Kindlers,

I have a Kindle Fire HD 8 and a 1TB SanDisk MicroSD card with at least 300GB of comic files (.cbz, .cbr mostly).

No matter how I try, I am just unable to:

  1. Dedicate 1TB MicroSD card as my internal storage, thus reading my comics via ComiCat,
  2. With the MicroSD card insert correctly, ComiCat is unable to 'read' the card and formulate a library of sorts
  3. Currently, only files I have transferred directly to the 64GB Kindle Fire memory seems to be able to read it,
  4. I have downloaded OneDrive and all my comic files are in there, intact, just inaccessible
  5. I am unable to "move to" from OneDrive to internal storage due to space constraint i suppose?
  6. How am I able to resolve this entire situation as I purchased this Kindle specifically to read my comics only. Thank you guys, thank you all in advance, Please help!

    Based on your description, this appears more likely to be related to the microSD card's format or the file/folder structure stored on the card, rather than an issue with OneDrive. Since ComiCat can read comics stored in the Kindle's internal storage, the app itself appears to be working as expected.

    I would suggest reviewing the Kindle Fire documentation to verify that the microSD card format and the way the comic files are organized on the card are supported by your device and the comic reader application. If the card format or directory structure is not fully compatible, apps may be unable to detect or index the files correctly even though they are present on the card.
