How do I locate Xbox account using credit card number?

A credit card number cannot be used directly to identify an Xbox account from a public support path.

To stop the recurring charge, use this process:

1. Go to the Manage your payments page in the Microsoft account dashboard and select Investigate for the unrecognized charge.
2. Check all Microsoft accounts that may have been used for purchases, including older accounts and family members’ accounts.
3. Sign in to Services & subscriptions at https://account.microsoft.com/services. If the subscription appears there, select Manage and then cancel it or turn off recurring billing.
4. If the subscription is on a different account and cannot be found, contact Microsoft Support through Get Help and Contact Support.
5. If the card may be compromised, contact the bank or payment provider immediately to prevent more charges. Disputing charges alone does not stop future fraudulent charges.
6. If the payment method is stored on a Microsoft account that can still be accessed, remove it from the Payment options page by selecting Remove.

Useful checks:

• If the charge continued after cancellation, cancellations must be made more than 2 days before the billing date.
• If the subscription was bought through a third party such as Google Play, Apple App Store, or a retailer, cancellation must be handled with that provider.
• If there is a past-due balance on the subscription, cancellation may not be available until the overdue amount is paid.
