Accessing Microsoft Teams using organizational or personal credentials
Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!
Based on your description, I understand that a user in your tenant is unable to access the organization in Microsoft Teams and gets the error:"You don't have the required permissions to access this org". Additional that, the user can access other cross tenant organizations in Teams but not in your tenant.
To help me narrow this down, could you please provide the following information:
- I just want to double-check, it's only one user having the problem, right?
- Is this user someone from your company or someone from outside?
- Was that user account just created, or has it been around for a while and just ran into problems now?
While waiting for the information you'll provide, please help me reassign the license for that user in the Admin center.
- Go to https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home#/users
- Select the user who has the issue, go to the licenses section, find the Microsoft Teams license, uncheck it, check it back immediately, and save it. Then reopen Teams and recheck it.
Kindly let me know when there are updates or if you need further assistance. Any updates you’re able to share would be really helpful.
I'm here and happy to help! Thank you for your kindness and patience!
