Hello,

I am setting up public organization identity validation for Azure Artifact Signing for a South Korean sole proprietorship.

What happened:

  1. Government ID, selfie/liveness, and Microsoft Verified ID were completed successfully.
  2. The Microsoft credentials page showed "Authentication successful."
  3. The Artifact Signing identity validation later changed to Failed.
  4. The failure reason says: "Please provide additional document(s) listed below dated within the past 12 months to verify your organization. Formation/incorporation records, franchise or agency appointment letters, government-issued licenses, registration certificates, or tax filing records."
  5. However, the Azure portal provides no upload button or secure upload link. The validation email only says that validation failed and does not include an upload path.

I have a Korean Business Registration Certificate issued within the last 12 months. The legal organization name and address on the certificate match the Artifact Signing validation request. I will not attach it publicly because it contains personal and business identifiers.

Could the Artifact Signing identity-validation team please:

  1. Reopen or reset the existing failed validation request to Action Required so I can upload the requested document;
  2. Provide a secure/private upload method;
  3. Confirm whether the original Korean official certificate is acceptable or an English certificate/translation is required; and
  4. Confirm whether a Korean Business Registration Number should be entered in the Tax ID field or the Registered company number field.

For security, I can provide the subscription ID, tenant ID, identity-validation request ID, timestamps, screenshots, and certificate privately to authorized Microsoft staff.
