If the Bluetooth driver shows as updated but still is not working, use this order:
- Update it again in Device Manager
- Select Start, type Device Manager, and open it.
- Expand Bluetooth.
- Right-click the Bluetooth adapter.
- Select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
- Restart the PC after it finishes.
- Check Windows Update
- Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates.
- Install any available updates and restart.
- Reinstall the Bluetooth driver
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Bluetooth.
- Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
- Restart the PC.
- Windows should automatically reinstall the Bluetooth driver.
- Roll back the driver if Bluetooth stopped working after a recent driver or Windows update
- In Device Manager, expand Bluetooth.
- Right-click the Bluetooth adapter > Properties.
- Open the Driver tab.
- Select Roll Back Driver if that option is available.
- Install the latest driver from the PC manufacturer
- Go to the PC manufacturer’s support website.
- Search by the PC model number.
- Download and install the latest Bluetooth driver for Windows 11.
- Restart the PC.
If the driver is installed but Bluetooth audio is the problem, also verify the Bluetooth device is selected under Start > Settings > System > Sound > Choose your output device.
