Microsoft 365 Personal does include Copilot benefits, but there are limits.

    • Copilot access: Yes. Microsoft 365 Personal subscribers can use Copilot Chat at https://microsoft365.com.
    • Copilot in desktop apps: Yes, the subscription owner can use Copilot in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote desktop apps.
    • Sharing: AI benefits cannot be shared. They are only available to the subscription owner.
    • Usage limits: Personal does not include unlimited AI use. For example, Microsoft 365 Personal includes:
      • Chat: Extensive use
      • Copilot in Microsoft 365 apps and image generation/editing: 60 credits per month
      • Voice: 30 minutes per day
      • Vision: 10 minutes per day
      • Audio Overview in Notebooks: 6 uses per day
    • Premium vs Personal: Premium has higher or extended AI usage and exclusive advanced AI features, while Personal has more limited credits.

So, a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription does not block Copilot. It allows Copilot, but with plan-based limits rather than the broader allowances available in Premium.
