A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
:
While there is no native "sync button" between Microsoft and Google, you can easily sync your OneDrive and Google Drive folders on a Windows desktop using these three reliable methods:
Method 1: The Desktop App Mirror (Easiest)
If you already have both official desktop apps installed, you can configure Google Drive to actively back up your local OneDrive folder.
Open Google Drive for Desktop from your Windows system tray (bottom right).
Click the Settings Gear and select Preferences.
Under the My Computer tab, click Add folder.
Browse to and select your local OneDrive folder (usually located at C:\Users\YourUsername\OneDrive).
Choose Sync with Google Drive and click Done.
Method 2: Cloud-to-Cloud Automation (Saves Storage & Internet)
If you do not want your computer running constantly to process the sync, you can use Microsoft's built-in automation to copy files directly in the cloud.
Log into your Microsoft 365 account online and open Power Automate.
Search for the pre-built template: "Copy new files from OneDrive to Google Drive".
Sign into both your Microsoft and Google credentials to authorize the link.
Click Create Flow. Any new file added to OneDrive will now instantly mirror to Google Drive in the background.
Method 3: Third-Party Tools (For Advanced Two-Way Sync)
If you need complex, bi-directional sync rules where changes on either drive immediately reflect on the other, use dedicated local software.
FreeFileSync: A free, open-source tool. You can set it to automatically mirror your local OneDrive directory into your local Google Drive directory using the Windows Task Scheduler.
(removed by Moderator): A web-based cloud manager that lets you link both cloud services and run scheduled sync schedules entirely on their servers.
