I have been blocked out of my account by microsoft support/account recovery team, and i have tried for days to get access to it. It started with an apparent unknown login, then when i tried to login i realised that i hadnt updated the information for the account, so the old email and phone number are useless as i no longer have access to them, and i have filled out multiple recovery forms, ive talked to specialists and someone from the recovery team, and they will not give me access even with all the information i have provided. i need access to this account, as i use it to make invoices for my parents business, and i have hundreds of hours on this account on xbox. can someone help me to regain access to the account, as it is very important?

The supported recovery options are limited to Microsoft’s self-service account tools.

    1. Start with the Sign-in Helper. It checks the sign-in address or phone number and tells what action is available for the account.
    2. If the account is locked, try signing in at https://account.microsoft.com to request a security code. Any phone number that can receive text messages can be used for the code; it does not need to already be associated with the account.
    3. If normal sign-in or password reset does not work, use the Account recovery form.
      • Complete it from a device previously used to sign in to that account.
      • Submit it from a location commonly used with that device, such as home or office.
      • Provide a working contact email that can receive Microsoft’s response.
      • Gather saved passwords or prior account details first if available from browser or device password stores.
    4. If the account uses two-step verification and none of the alternate verification methods are accessible, support cannot reset the account or change account details.
    5. If the account remains blocked after entering a security code or changing the password, use the When you can't sign in to your Microsoft account path from the Outlook.com unblock guidance.
    6. If the account was blocked due to suspicious activity and the sign-in page does not show Next, use the aka.ms/ reinstatement link shown in that window and follow that form. Do not submit repeated extra requests, because that can slow review.
    7. Support agents cannot manually send password reset links or change account details for this scenario.

If recovery form submissions are being rejected, the only supported way to improve the chance of success is to resubmit with more accurate historical account information from a recognized device and location. There is no supported manual override described for personal Microsoft accounts in this situation.
