This method allows you to export an Excel table directly into a SharePoint list and can be useful when creating a new list from spreadsheet data. Microsoft notes that the Excel data is mapped to SharePoint list columns during the export process.

If the export method continues to fail, you may also consider the following alternatives:

• Power Automate: Read rows from the Excel table and create SharePoint list items in batches. This is a good option for larger datasets and repeatable imports.
