Azure Artifact Signing identity validation failed after AU10TIX verification completed successfully
I am attempting to complete organization identity validation for an Azure Artifact Signing account.
The identity verification process through AU10TIX completed successfully. I completed the government-issued ID verification and Microsoft subsequently displayed “Verification successful!” on the Verifiable Credentials page.
However, the Artifact Signing identity validation later changed to Failed, and I received an email from Microsoft Azure stating that the Artifact Signing identity validation status had been updated to Validation Fail.
During the process, Microsoft Authenticator also displayed an error after attempting to present the newly created Verified ID:
Error Code: 404
Error Details: Request with requestId f9f7b79a-c4b3-4241-a51d-b91a15b5cbc4 not found.
Despite that error, I returned to the Microsoft Verifiable Credentials page and it subsequently displayed “Verification successful!”
Azure Artifact Signing now shows the organization identity validation as Failed.
Artifact Signing account: OfficeFormsProProduction
Organization: TEAMANT SYSTEMS LLC
Identity type: Public
Country/region: United States
Identity Validation ID: 90d2f81f-e9ae-4ecb-bc54-5e8cbfec58ea
Could the Artifact Signing team please determine why the identity validation failed after the AU10TIX/Microsoft Verified ID process reported successful verification? Please also advise whether this failed validation should be retried, deleted and recreated, or reset by Microsoft.
I can provide screenshots, timestamps, correlation/request information, and the Azure validation-failure email if needed.
