Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
For a subscription suspended due to suspicious activity or policy/security review, the supported path is to create a support request with Azure Subscription Management. Billing and subscription support is free and does not require a paid support plan.
If the subscription is disabled for security reasons, use this path:
- Open the Azure support request entry point:
https://portal.azure.com/#create/Microsoft.Support - Search for re-enable subscription and select Go.
- Choose Subscription management.
- Select the affected subscription.
- Choose Create a support request.
- Set:
- Problem type: Re-enable my subscription
- Problem subtype: Could not reactivate by self-service
- Complete the remaining details and submit the case.
If the issue is specifically a billing suspension rather than a security suspension, resolve the outstanding payment issue first. In Microsoft 365 business lifecycle guidance, admins can reactivate a subscription before it reaches the deleted state. If a subscription is deleted, adding a new subscription of the same type does not restore the deleted data.
