Artifact Signing organization identity validation delay

Artifact Signing organization identity validation has been In Progress for more than 10 days after additional corporate documents were submitted.

The Azure portal currently displays “Please complete your email verification,” but no email verification message was received after the additional documents were submitted.

Azure support informed us the review cannot be expedited and directed us to this Q&A (our support plan tier does not allow filing technical tickets via the Support API)

Organization: Digital xxx
Identity Validation ID: xxxx

Additional documents were already submitted as requested.

Could someone from the Artifact Signing / identity validation team review the request, or tell us exactly what additional evidence is needed? Thank you.

An Artifact Signing organization identity validation request can remain in "In Progress" while the validation team reviews the submitted documentation. Based on the current guidance, identity validation reviews may take time, especially when additional documents have been requested and uploaded.

A few things to verify:

Confirm that the email verification associated with the identity validation request was successfully completed.

Check the Primary Email mailbox, including Junk/Spam folders, and ensure messages from Microsoft are not being blocked by mail security policies.

Verify that the uploaded corporate documents meet the validation requirements (for example, the legal entity name and address match the information entered in the request and the documents are current and valid).

If the Azure portal shows "In Progress" with no "Action Required" status, it typically indicates that the request is still under review. If the issue persists, please provide via private message:

Whether the validation type is Organization → Public or Organization → Private.

The exact status text shown under Identity Validations in the Azure portal.

Whether an Action Required status appeared at any point after the additional documents were uploaded.
