I am trying to remove a child from a family group.

The child does NOT appear in my group but I DO show as administrator in her account family group.

It tells me I need to log on as the administrator of that group but then loops logging into the same account over and over.

I have tried different machines. I have deleted all cached info including passwords, I have used incognito mode, I have done this using Edge, Chrome, abd Brave browsers.

I have called the help line only to have the robot hang up on me over and over.

I called business sales to get transferred to a human being only to be transferred to a phone that said we are closed goodbye and hung up on again.

    Hello Patrick Foss,

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. It seems that you cannot remove your child as her account does not appear from your Microsoft Family group, even though her account shows you as an organizer.

Since this is a user-to-user forum, we cannot access or correct the family-group record from here. Please contact Microsoft Support so they can review the issue more closely and assist you further. Please also avoid contacting the Sales team, as they do not handle Family Safety account issues.

Please follow the steps below to reach the correct Microsoft Support team (live chat or callback request):

    1.  Go to: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
    2. In the search box, enter a short description of your issue. Then choose "Get Help"
    3. Scroll down and select Sign in to contact support (please sign in using a personal Microsoft account). Then follow the on-screen prompts to reach Support Team.

Tip: Support chat availability may vary by country/region, product, and support hours. If you can't get in touch with a chat agent right away, trying again later or at a different time may help.

Hopefully your concerns will soon be addressed. Thank you so much for your patience!

    Best regards.
