I am trying to create an azure subscription, but payment verification is failing.

I tried both the azure free trial and pay-as-you-go options, but I get the same error:

"check that the details in all fields are correct or try a different card."

My debit card is enabled for online and international transactions, but azure still cannot verify the payment method.

please help me resolve this payment verification issue.

Use this checklist for Azure sign-up payment verification failures:

    1. Verify the card type.
      • Azure does not accept virtual or prepaid cards for subscriptions.
      • Debit cards are accepted in most countries or regions, but some locations have restrictions.
      • If the selected country/region does not support the card type, the card can be rejected.
    2. Make sure the billing details match exactly.
      • The name, address, and CVV must match exactly with the card and the bank records.
      • During sign-up, the billing address must be in the same country/region selected in the About you section.
    3. Confirm the bank-side requirements.
      • Ask the bank or card issuer to verify:
        • international transactions are enabled
        • recurring payments are allowed
        • the card is active and not blocked
        • the card has available balance or credit
    4. Check browser-related causes.
      • If the sign-up page hangs or verification does not complete, allow third-party cookies.
      • In Chrome: Settings > Show advanced settings > Privacy > Content settings > clear Block third-party cookies and site data.
      • In Microsoft Edge: Settings > View advanced settings > Cookies > Don't block cookies.
      • Then refresh the Azure sign-up page. If needed, close and restart the browser.
      • If payment method pages do not load correctly, sign out of all Azure sessions and try an InPrivate session, another browser, or clear cached cookies.
    5. Check account/profile eligibility details.
      • Before sign-up, verify the Azure profile information is correct, including contact email address, street address, and telephone number.
      • Make sure the same personal and payment information has not already been used for an Azure free trial.
      • If free trial is not available, use pay-as-you-go instead.
    6. If the error continues on both Free Trial and Pay-As-You-Go:
      • Sign in to the Microsoft account center.
      • Open Your info.
      • Verify billing and shipping details are completed and valid.
      • Retry sign-up in a different browser.
    7. If none of the above resolves it, create a support request.
      • Azure Billing and Subscription support can help investigate account-specific sign-up and payment verification issues.
      • Use: create a support request
