Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi James,
Just to gently clarify before we go any further, this is a user‑to‑user support forum, and I cannot directly cancel a subscription or process refunds on behalf of customers. Cancellation and refund eligibility are handled through the appropriate Microsoft account or Microsoft 365 admin center portal and are determined automatically based on factors such as the subscription type, purchase method, billing agreement, and the timing of the cancellation request.
To cancel a Microsoft 365 Business subscription, you need to contact your organization's IT department and ask for their help (or you can do it yourself if you're an administrator with required billing privileges):
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center and go to Billing > Select "Your products"
- Choose the subscription you want to cancel and select Cancel subscription.
- Follow the prompts to complete the cancellation.
- If the cancellation option isn't available, open the subscription details page > Select Edit recurring billing > Turn off recurring billing. This will stop future renewals while allowing the subscription to remain active until the end of the current billing term.
