Azure account locked by old Authenticator – unable to access billing or pay suspended subscription

I urgently need help from Microsoft with an Azure subscription that has been suspended because of an outstanding payment.

My correct Azure sign-in is my @freshproduceinspections.com address. However, when I try to sign in to Azure, Microsoft requires me to either approve a request in Microsoft Authenticator or enter a verification code from Microsoft Authenticator.

I no longer have access to the Authenticator registration for this account, and there are no alternative verification methods offered. I therefore cannot access the Azure portal.

The problem is made more confusing because this Microsoft identity is associated with an old organisation/school account from when I was a school governor, and Microsoft also remembers an old school account belonging to my son. I believe the current Azure subscription is being associated with the correct @freshproduceinspections.com identity, but I cannot authenticate to it because of the obsolete Authenticator registration.

The Azure subscription is now suspended because of non-payment. I am willing and able to pay the outstanding balance, but I cannot access the subscription or billing area to correct the billing details and make the payment.

I have tried the normal Azure support route, but it requires me to sign into the Azure portal, which is impossible because of the MFA problem. I have also tried telephone support but could not reach a billing/subscription support agent.

I need Microsoft to help me regain access to the correct Azure account, or escalate this to the appropriate Microsoft Entra/Azure account recovery team so that the old MFA registration can be reset.

I can provide the subscription ID, billing information and proof of ownership privately to Microsoft Support if required.

Please could a Microsoft moderator advise how I can get this escalated to the appropriate team without requiring me to authenticate through the inaccessible Authenticator method?

Thank you.
