Yes. There are two main ways in Microsoft Forms:
- Notify the form owner by email when a response is submitted
- In Microsoft Forms, open the form.
- Go to Settings.
- Turn on Get email notification of each response.
- This sends an email each time someone submits the form.
- Send a custom confirmation email by using Power Automate
- Use this if a specific person needs the email, or if the email should include custom text and form details.
- In Power Automate, create a flow for Microsoft Forms.
- Use the trigger When a new response is submitted.
- Select the form in Form Id.
- In the email step, use Send an email or Send an email (V2).
- Enter the recipient, subject, and body.
- Add dynamic content from the form response if needed.
- Save and test the flow.
If the goal is to email the person who completed the form, set the To field to Responders' Email in the email action.
If the goal is only to let respondents keep a receipt of their submission, Forms also has Allow receipt of responses after submission. This is available for respondents in the organization when the form is set to Only people in my organization can respond and Record Name is checked.
