To get down to one account with Microsoft 365:

    1. Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ with each Microsoft account.
    2. Check which account shows the active Microsoft 365 subscription.
    3. Decide which account to keep.
      • Keep the account that has the subscription wanted for Office.
      • If the wrong account has the subscription, the subscription cannot be transferred to another account.
    4. Cancel the subscription on the account that is not needed.
      • In Services & subscriptions, select the subscription, then choose Manage > Cancel subscription.
    5. If OneDrive files are stored in the account being canceled, download them first. Canceling that subscription can remove access to that account’s 1 TB OneDrive storage.
    6. After canceling the unwanted subscription, sign in to Office apps with the account being kept.
    7. If the account being kept does not have Microsoft 365, buy or renew Microsoft 365 on that account after the cancellation/refund is completed.

    Important points:

    • A Microsoft 365 subscription or Office license cannot be moved from one Microsoft account to another.
    • A Microsoft account can have only one active Microsoft 365 subscription.
    • The account used in Office is the one that shows the license ownership for install and activation.
