Unfortunately, only one Microsoft account can be linked in the game to your PSN account. So once this has been linked to a Microsoft account, it won't allow you to link it to another Microsoft account. This is a shame, as it would have been good to be able to link to more then one account, but it is how it was designed.
As you have deleted the Microsoft account, you would need to create a new PSN account and link it with your new Microsoft account. However, doing this isn't ideal as you would need to start again with your progress and content purchased in game for that account.
