A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
This usually happens because OneDrive is including other folders in camera upload, not just the phone camera folder. Folders such as screenshots, downloads, or social media images can appear in OneDrive Memories or photo views.
To stop that on the OneDrive app:
- Open OneDrive on the Galaxy A14.
- Select Me.
- Open Settings.
- Select Camera upload.
- Choose Organise by source.
- Uncheck any folders that should not be included.
If the goal is to keep only photos actually taken by the phone camera, leave only the camera folder selected and uncheck folders like Screenshots, Downloads, and social media folders.
If Samsung Gallery is linked to OneDrive, also check Samsung’s album sync settings:
- Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud > Gallery > Albums to sync.
- Select only the albums that should sync, or choose All albums only if everything should be included.
Important: Samsung Gallery and OneDrive use bi-directional sync. Deleting or changing synced photos in Samsung Gallery or OneDrive can affect the other location and synced devices. Deleted items are moved to the Recycle Bin and removed from synced devices.
If the behavior continues and Samsung Gallery is syncing the wrong content, disconnect and reconnect Samsung Gallery to OneDrive:
- Open the Microsoft account Additional security options page.
- Next to Samsung account or Samsung Cloud, select Remove or Remove these permissions.
- On the phone, go to Settings > Accounts or Accounts and backup > Manage accounts.
- Select the Samsung account.
- Open Apps and services / Connected services / Linked accounts.
- Remove or unlink the Microsoft account.
