I've lost all my Authenticator data by turning on cloud backup instead of restoring it first

Hi! I've accidentally uninstalled Microsoft Authenticator app on my only device and after reinstalling it I've signed in into my account and turned on cloud backup thinking that it will restore my data, but nothing happened.
Thinking that I've signed into wrong account I turned cloud backup off which apparently have deleted my existing backup.
I didn't notice the "restore" link in the bottom that I had to do first instead of just signin in (seriously who designed such flow?).
Now when I try to restore it says there is no backup to restore from.
I am confident that cloud backup were turned on before this happened, so there was a backup in the cloud.
I am also condifent that account is correct one.
Please help me restore my previous backup as I had important 2FA accounts stored there.

I've already reached general Microsot Support which instead of helping instructed me to unlink my old Authenticator from account and link the new one (chat number 7107127245). Then they suggested me to raise a case inside Microsoft Authenticator by "feedback" menu which I did. They said it will take 24-48 hours, but 3 days already past and I have recieved no response. My "feedback" case number is UEQUHY3D.

I have no problem with accessing my account as I have passkey and other methods configured, but I need my data from the Microsoft Authenticator App restored. Please help me with that.
The only reason I've choosen your app is becaused I was sure that I am safe and backed by cloud backup.
I simply don't believe one can that easily lost it's critical data. I am sure you have versions of it stored as even OneDrive supports restoring deleted files.
