    Hi Ramya,

I hope you're doing well today.

This situation usually occurs because the Teams Meeting add-in has become disabled, outdated, or was not registered correctly after a recent Teams or Office update. In addition, since the add-in relies on Teams and Outlook being signed in with the same account, any mismatch between the two can also prevent the meeting option from appearing.

Please try the following steps in the order listed below:

1/ Check and enable the Teams meeting add-in

    • Open classic Outlook and go to File > Options > Add-ins.
    • At the bottom, set Manage to COM Add-ins, then click Go.
    • Confirm that Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office is checked. If it is missing or disabled, enable it and restart Outlook.

New Teams Meeting selection in Outlook Calendar view

    2/ Confirm matching sign-in accounts

3/ Restart the applications and repair Office if needed

    • Close Teams and Outlook completely, checking Task Manager to ensure no background processes remain.
    • Open Microsoft Teams first and allow it to fully load, then open classic Outlook.
    • Go to the Calendar view and check for the New Teams Meeting button. If it is still not visible, run a Quick Repair through Control Panel > Programs > Microsoft Office > Change > Quick Repair.

    Install using click-to-run

I hope this information helps point you in the right direction. If you have any further questions or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be happy to assist.

Thank you for your understanding, and have a wonderful day ahead.
