    Hi!

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Technically, a family organizer cannot be removed directly by another member unless an organizer performs the removal.

Please read this guide as well on how to leave a Family group: https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/family-safety/how-to-leave-a-microsoft-family-group

In regards with changing your email address, are there any kind of issues that you encountered that prohibits you from using your current account?

Let me know so I can assist your further.

A family organizer cannot be removed directly by another member unless an organizer performs the removal. The supported options are:

    1. To remove a family organizer or any other member from the family group:
      • Sign in with an organizer account at account.microsoft.com/family
      • Select the ... next to that person’s name
      • Choose Remove from family group
      • Select Remove to confirm
    2. If the account is a child account and Remove from family group is not available:
      • Select Remove consent for this child’s account first
      • Return to the family group
      • Then select Remove from family group
    3. To delete the family group entirely:
      • An organizer must remove all other organizers and members first
      • After everyone else is removed, select Leave family group on the organizer’s own name
    4. To change the email on a Microsoft account:
      • Go to Your info at https://account.live.com/names/manage
      • Choose Add email, Add phone number, or Remove next to an existing address
      • If changing the sign-in email, add the new alias first, then remove the old one

    Important:

    • Leaving or being removed from a family group does not delete the Microsoft account.
    • Anyone removed from a family group loses access to shared Family Safety features and shared purchases or services such as Microsoft 365 Family.
    • If removing a Microsoft-domain alias such as @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com, that alias is permanently deleted and cannot be used again with any Microsoft account.
