Unable to switch directory in microsoft azure portal

Hello
I got my personal Microsoft directory and one I was invited to, when trying to switch to my personal directory I'm asked to enter a 6 digit MFA but on my Microsoft authenticator on my phone the code it 8 digit.
There are no other options to login except to receive a notification that doesn't arrive.
Could anyone assist please?
