How to share with organization? I get this message"you can only share within your organization"

I have a presentation in the company sharepoint site that I would like to be viewable by my entire organization. The problem is I don't know which group to select that represents my organization.

Is there a way to see the name of my Organization in my sharepoint account profile so that I can then grant that org access to the presentation? When I search, there are hundreds of groups, and any of them I select gets the prompt "you can only share within your organization" .

It sounds like there may be some confusion between the sharing link setting and the people picker, which is a very common mix-up. The short answer is that you almost certainly do not need to find a group at all. To make a file available to everyone in your company, you should change the link setting rather than search for a group in the people box.

When you select Share, look for Link settings (usually a gear icon or the current setting displayed at the bottom of the dialog). Among the options you should see:

Anyone with the link, including people outside your organization.
People in your organization, which gives anyone in your organization access.
People with existing access, which changes nothing and simply generates a link.
People you choose, which is where the people picker applies.

Selecting People in your organization is what you are after. Helpfully, this option displays your organization's actual name, which also answers your question about identifying it.

The reason you are seeing "you can only share within your organization" is likely that you are selecting groups in the Specific people box, which is intended for named individuals or specific groups rather than the whole company.

One thing worth noting: if that option is greyed out or missing, your SharePoint administrators may have restricted it.
