Change my current billing from yearly to monthly

I have a current billing set up for a computer that is no longer functioning. Last bill of $16.00 AUD on 7th August has a reference Id of [Moderator Note: Personal Info Removed] and I am of the opinion that applies to the previous Microsoft program on the old computer.
I have since purchased a new laptop and the billing for the new Microsoft 365 program is yearly. Can that program now be billed monthly the same as the former one ie. monthly?
My computer skills are not adept enough to organize this without some HELP!

Before changing anything, I would first make sure the AU$16 charge from August 7 is not another Microsoft 365 subscription that is still active.
Could you please sign in here: https://account.microsoft.com/services Then let me know what subscriptions are listed there and whether you see more than one Microsoft 365 subscription?
Also, was the yearly Microsoft 365 subscription purchased separately after you bought the new laptop, or was it included with the laptop?
