received email scam from defender prime express

I called the number on the Defender Prime Express email about renewing my subscription. I realized during the call it was a scam, so I hung up and deleted the email. Should I be worried that they infiltrated my computer and phone?

The scammers tried to have me allow them to remote access into my computer but I denied their access and ended the call

If you did not install anything, give them any passwords or verification codes, or provide payment information, there is likely nothing further you need to do.

For peace of mind, you can run a Full Scan with Microsoft Defender and keep an eye out for follow-up scam calls or emails.

You did the right thing by ending the call and denying access.

    Simply calling the number does not normally give them access to your computer or phone.

    To check the actual risk, could you confirm:

    1. Did they ask you to install anything such as AnyDesk, TeamViewer, UltraViewer, or another remote-access app?
    2. Did you give them control of your screen or computer at any point?
    3. Did you provide any passwords, verification codes, banking/card details, or other personal information?
