No GSTIN number field in the Azure portal's Update sold to form

How to add GSTIN number in Azure portal? I can't see that GSTIN number field as shown in the documentation / Help and support recommendations. I logged in with Account Administrator role, confirmed from the IAM view my access, and the billing account type shows Microsoft Online Services Program for the subscription but the Update sold to form does not show the GSTIN field. New support request does not let me submit a support request, only shows recommended solution.

For a Microsoft Online Services Program (MOSP/Pay-As-You-Go) subscription, the GSTIN field is normally available only when the billing account and country configuration support tax ID collection. The Microsoft documentation shows that GSTIN can be updated from Cost Management + Billing > Properties > Update sold-to or the relevant tax information section, depending on the billing account type.

Since you are signed in as the Account Administrator and the GSTIN field is not displayed at all, this is not something that can be corrected through IAM permissions alone. Additionally, if the portal is not allowing you to create a billing support request and only presents recommended solutions, further investigation by the Azure Billing team may be required.

Could you please provide the following details:

Screenshot of the Update sold-to page (with sensitive information masked).

Billing account country/region.

Confirmation whether the subscription is an individual or organizational account.

Screenshot showing the billing account type as Microsoft Online Services Program (MOSP).

With this information, we can determine whether the GSTIN field should be available for your billing profile or whether the account requires a billing-side review.
