    Hi Harold Aragon,

I understand how frustrating it is when your Surface Pro cannot connect to Wi-Fi, especially when the device is new. Just wondering, have you tried out the common troubleshooting steps in the AI answer yet, and what's the results? If the issue persists, it'd be helpful if you can confirm a few things:

    • Whether the Wi-Fi completely missing/not working, or just cannot connect to TMOBILE?
    • Whether you can see the TMOBILE entry in the Wi-Fi? And what exactly happen when you try to connect?

This is either a missing/corrupted driver, a frequency band mismatch, or hardware failure. The details above might help narrow down the problems, hence finding the most suitable solutions. In the meantime, below are some steps to fix typical Wi-Fi issues that you can try out:

    1. Press Win + X > Device Manager > select View > check Show hidden devices.
    2. Expand Network adapters > check if Wi-Fi driver is grayed out / shows a warning icon
      1. Click Action > Scan for hardware changes > check Wi-Fi driver again
      2. If that's not working, right-click the Wi-Fi driver > Uninstall > restart the PC.
    3. If the issue persists, connect your PC to Internet (Ethernet or Bluetooth tethering)
    4. Right-click the Wi-Fi driver again > Uninstall (choose Delete drivers... if prompted)
    5. Restart the PC. If it's not auto-reinstalled, manually install the latest drivers package:

If none of the above helps and you still cannot connect to TMOBILE, please provide the details I asked for above. We then can check if there's a chance if there's something wrong with the Wi-Fi card not being detected by the system rather than a simple missing drive.

Try these steps in order on the Surface Pro:

    1. If possible, first connect the device to another internet source, such as Ethernet or a phone hotspot, and install the latest updates.
      • Open Start, search for Surface, and open the Surface app.
      • In Help & support, check whether the device says You're up to date.
      • Install any available updates, then restart.
    2. Run the Windows Network Troubleshooter.
      • Go to Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
      • Run Network Adapter and follow the prompts.
    3. Check whether the T-Mobile Wi‑Fi network works on another device.
      • If another phone, tablet, or PC also cannot connect, the issue is likely with the T-Mobile router or modem rather than the Surface.
    4. Restart the T-Mobile modem/router.
      • After it restarts, try connecting the Surface again.
    5. Turn Airplane mode on and back off.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet > Airplane mode.
      • Turn Airplane mode On, then Off.
      • Then make sure Wi‑Fi is turned On.
    6. If the Surface still does not connect, force a restart.
      • Select Start > Power > Shut down.
      • Wait a moment.
      • Then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds until the logo screen appears again.
    7. If the network appears but connection still fails, forget the Wi‑Fi network and reconnect.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Network & internet > Wi‑Fi > Manage known networks.
      • Select the T-Mobile network and choose Forget.
      • Then reconnect and enter the password again.

If the T-Mobile network is available to other devices but the Surface still cannot connect after these steps, the next supported path is Surface Wi‑Fi troubleshooting for adapter and driver checks.
