A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
For OneDrive personal support, use Microsoft Support contact options rather than a direct consumer phone line.
- Go to Contact Microsoft customer support.
- Select Get Help on the web.
- Describe the issue and use Contact Support to reach the available support option.
- If sign-in is part of the problem, use Start sign-in helper on the same page.
For OneDrive file access issues, try these checks first:
- If the error says you do not have access permissions to the item:
- Open File Explorer and browse to the file.
- Right-click the file and select Properties.
- Open the Security tab.
- Select Edit.
- Review each listed user or group and ensure Full control is allowed.
- Select Apply and OK.
- Restart the computer.
- If Windows shows Can't open file, make sure OneDrive is running.
- If OneDrive says it cannot connect to Windows, review the recent fixes and Files On-Demand guidance from the OneDrive support article.
If live support is needed and the available option is chat or callback instead of a phone conversation, use the support flow above because the support method depends on the product and account type.
