An integrated threat protection solution designed to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats across Microsoft 365 services.
Dear MDW,
I understand that the Alerts & History section in Microsoft Defender on your iPhone shows a “Something went wrong” message and cannot display alerts for this or your other devices. You have already signed out and reinstalled the app, but the same error continues.
Please try the options below and check whether the issue continues:
- Update both Microsoft Defender in the App Store and iOS under Settings > General > Software Update.
- Confirm that Defender is signed in with the personal Microsoft account connected to an active Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription.
- Open Settings > Notifications > Defender, turn on Allow Notifications, then restart the iPhone. Defender needs notification permission to report blocked threats on iOS.
- Temporarily switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or vice versa, and disable any third-party VPN or DNS-filtering app before testing again.
Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps, and I'll be glad to continue looking into it with you.
