Accessing my AOL mailbox.

If the new AOL password was changed on the AOL website, Outlook also needs the updated sign-in information.

1. In Outlook, select the icon next to the AOL account name.
2. When the sign-in pop-up appears, select Continue.
3. Follow the prompts and enter the new password.

If Outlook says Please create an app password for Outlook on your email provider's site, use an AOL app password instead of the regular AOL password:

1. Go to AOL account security and generate an app password for Outlook.
2. Copy the app password.
3. Paste it into Outlook when prompted for the account password.

For Outlook for Android or iOS, AOL requires 2-factor authentication when adding AOL accounts to Outlook.
