Hello CARLOS MORALES,
If I understand correctly, after entering your account details in OneNote on your iPhone, the app does not complete the sign-in and instead returns to the opening screen asking you to open or add an account. This looks like a sign-in loop in the iPhone app rather than the app being discontinued.
I recommend trying the steps below:
- Update OneNote, Microsoft Authenticator, and iOS, then restart the iPhone. These apps share sign-in information, so keeping all of them current can prevent an outdated component from interrupting the login process.
- As a quick test, sign in to OneNote on the web with the same account. If your notebooks open there, the account and password are working, so the issue is likely limited to the OneNote app on your iPhone.
- Force-close OneNote, then open iPhone Settings > Apps > OneNote > Reset OneNote and enable Delete Login Credentials. Reopen OneNote and sign in again. This clears saved credentials that may be causing the loop.
- If it still returns to the first page, remove and reinstall OneNote. Before doing this, make sure your notebooks are available online, as any notes that have not synced may be lost.
Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps, and I'll be glad to continue looking into it with you.
