I purchased Excel on its own in 2021 from the Microsoft store. I tried to download and re-install it but it goes to Office 365 setup. Can I install Excel on its own?

Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out.

Uninstall any trial or subscription versions of Microsoft 365 currently on your computer to avoid license conflicts.

Open your browser and go to the Microsoft account services page.

https://account.microsoft.com/services

Sign in with the exact Microsoft account you used to buy Excel in 2021 > Look for Services & subscriptions or Purchased products to find Excel 2021 > Click Install next to Excel to download your specific license installer.

it said "you're all set" but I can't find Excel anywhere

You should be able to find the individual Office apps on the Windows Start menu. Look in the alphabetical list or search the menu.
