I have an active Microsoft 365 subscription that is paid until next year, but my Microsoft Office apps are not working on Microsoft Word.

When I try to use Microsoft Word (and other Office apps), I receive activation/account errors even though I am signed in with the Microsoft account that has the active subscription.

I have already tried signing in again, but the problem is still happening. I would like help checking whether my subscription is linked correctly to my account and fixing the activation issue so I can use Microsoft 365 again.

Hi Soghra,

To further check what account has the Office license associated with, please go to account.microsoft.com/services > if you can see the Microsoft 365 subscription then its the account. Otherwise, sign in another account.

Once the account confirmed, go to any Office application such as Word > Account > Product Information > Update license.
